What does my card have to do with this holiday?
How to use this guide:
Let’s say you want to look up the card:
A blast from God’s nostrils. Exodus 15:8
This means the card is referencing the book of Exodus, chapter 15, verse 8. So:
Open the Exodus page.
Now click the button that says “Exodus 1” with the little down arrow next to it to open the chapters menu. Click on 15.
Scroll down to verse 8.
“At the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up, The floods stood straight like a wall; The deeps froze in the heart of the sea.” You might have to read a little more before or after the reference to find out that “a blast from God’s nostrils” is a line from The Song of the Sea which the Hebrews sang after God split the sea for them.
